Most people reach for an anti aging cream when wrinkles begin to appear. These products are effective at minimizing wrinkles and preventing more wrinkles from forming. One of the reasons they are effective is the presence of nutrients known as antioxidants. Antioxidants help scavenge free radicals that cause damage to the skin and speed up the aging process. It makes sense to include these nutrients in your food intake as well. This can be done through diet and with nutritional supplements.

A recent French study showed that people who take supplements containing antioxidants had twenty three percent fewer wrinkles than the group who did not take the supplements. The antioxidants in the supplements bind the free radicals in the blood stream. This has many benefits for the skin and your general health. Free radicals are also thought to play a role in certain diseases such as cancer and heart disease.

You should include foods rich in antioxidants in addition to supplements and anti aging creams. Try to include a variety of foods that contain vitamins A, C, E and beta-carotene. Some studies have shown that a combination of vitamins C and E aid in the absorption of these nutrients and are most effective for free radicals. Some foods rich in antioxidants are: raisins, blueberries, cranberries, prunes, plums, spinach, brussel sprouts and broccoli.

Green tea extract is very popular right now and is a great antioxidant. In addition to benefiting the skin, there are other health benefits. Green tea is thought to protect the heart and boost the immune system. There is some evidence that it can help prevent cancer in some cases. You can drink green tea either hot or cold. This nutrient is present in many supplements that are made for the skin.

Vitamin A is an important nutrient for the health of your skin. This vitamin is included in many anti aging cream products and wrinkle removers. This vitamin is very important for the growth of skin cells. A deficiency in this vitamin can reduce the effect of your skin care products. You should try to get about 10,000 IU of this vitamin each day. If your diet is deficient, a supplement can help. Avoid taking too much of this vitamin, as it tends to build up in the body.

Vitamin E is well known for combating the damage done by free radicals. This vitamin improves the elasticity and moisturizes the skin. For this reason, it is often used in anti aging cream products. When it is combined with vitamin C, this nutrient is even more effective. Try to include this nutrient in food sources as well as in supplements.

A combination of a healthy diet, nutritional supplements and good skin care products is best for your skin and overall health. Look for antioxidants in your nutritional supplements and anti wrinkle skin care products. Read the labels to become familiar with the ingredients commonly used in these products. Reading reviews is a good source of information and will help you make the best choice for your skin.

Hair loss is a health problem affecting both men and women. Although in women may not be as frequent as it can be in men, the fact is that hair thinning is really distressing for most women.

If you are one of those women who have these problems, you should look into the possibility of getting a specific treatment for women.

Types of Treatment

There are several therapeutic approaches for women being offered in the market nowadays. However, you should take note that not all forms may be suitable for you. To know what treatment may be suitable to you and your present circumstances, it is a good idea that you should first consult your doctor regarding a specific treatment for women.

Rogaine as Hair Loss Treatment for Women

Rogaine is an over the counter hair loss treatment for women. Rogaine can be applied topically on the balding areas of the head. However, this substance may not be good for pregnant women or those who are nursing their babies as studies show that this substance may be harming for the baby and for the mother.

Women with heart problems are also advised not to use this substance because according to studies, Rogaine may have some negative effects on women with heart problems. If you are not sure if Rogaine is right for you, then you must consult your doctor before you attempt to use this product on your scalp.

Is Hair Weaving a Good Treatment for Women?

Contrary to popular belief that weaving the hair could prevent hair loss, it may not be beneficial for you. According to some studies, weaving the hair could cause traction alopecia through prolonged tension on growing hair. This technique is said to be especially harmful for women who have thin or fine strands of hair.

Hair Transplants

For women who have tried other hair loss remedy without any positive results, hair transplant could be the solution to their problem. Hair transplants is more expensive than other treatment but it could have lasting results.

If you are really very concerned about the condition of your hair, you may like to talk to your doctor about this type of treatment for women.

Finally, you should keep in mind that many causes of this condition in women are temporary, and that many women cope well by using hats, wigs and cosmetic products. Do not be taken by claims of wonder treatments to cure hair loss in women.

Another term for you to get excited about! Adventure tourism is a type of niche tourism involving exploration or travel to remote areas, where one is about to experience the unexpected. Rapidly growing, adventure tourism experiences great competition from other outdoor industry types of tourism, but the most important feature, or what is referred to as its unique selling point, is the fact it offers to those seeking unusual vacating times, a radically different perspective from the typical beach resort vacation.

With thousands of active vacation specialists, adventure tourism is the fastest-growing sector of tourism and a worldwide trend for adventure travel outfitters. Recommending a variety of trips to countless adventure destinations, from Alaska to Patagonia and beyond, adventure tourism can help you add that extra “spice” to your annual vacation holidays and enjoy the pleasures associated with ranch-based horseback riding, cycling through a wine country, or floating through the deepest canyons of Earth.

Through a variety of different organizations and with experts’ assistance, interested individuals can enjoy how it feels for example to be a member of an adventure camp community, the satisfaction one enjoys while following the Inca trail to Machu Picchu, the eco-spiritual adventure in the Himalayan Mountains, or learning a foreign language while volunteering for the rebuilt of a village in Central America. The choices and destinations are endless and the only thing you will most certainly need is to follow the advice of professional adventure guides and to be open to experiences that will increase your understanding of the world we live in and will make you less subversive to your child’s future choices in life.

These special vacation services are usually offered to small groups of people, who have a lust for life and a curiosity for culture and wish to explore adventure tourism’s immense capabilities and immerse in the addictive world of adventure travel. Although some tend to confuse adventure tourism with that of extreme tourism -also known as shock tourism- which involves traveling to dangerous destinations or the participation to dangerous events, the adrenaline rush one experiences as an adventurous tourist, is of a lower risk level. Its greater difference is the degree of engagement and professionalism. Thus, before you decide to accept an interesting invitation from that old friend of yours who has disappeared once backpacking in South America, you should better examine the specifics of the amazingly low cost deal he or she offers. Wilderness is not something one should take lightly, especially when it might cost your own life.

This is a monthly newsletter listing some of the best deals in Vegas. Use free meal coupons or 2 for the price of 1 deals whenever you go out. If you have a players card in a casino and play for at least an hour give your card to the pit boss or promotions clerk and request a free meal at the restaurant of your choice.

Flight CS957, the island hopper takes off from Honolulu International airport once a week on a 3,800 mile trip to Agana which is in the United States territory of Guam in the northern Marianas islands. This flight takes over fourteen hours.

The aircraft used is a Boeing 737-800 that belongs to Continental’s air Micronesia operation which is known as Air Mike.

There is a fifteen hour workday for it’s crew and there are 3 crew in the actual flight deck. The extra crew member is needed to provide breaks to the other two. This is because of the very long duty time onboard.

The aircraft also carries its own ground engineer which reduces the risk of delay on some of the more remote locations.

There is a lot of skill needed to pilot the aircraft on the short runways that the 737 has to navigate, a real test for any pilot. Some of these runways are actually shorter than the islands themselves, some of which reach out into the ocean and sit on coral reefs. Pilots have to land the aircraft hard and quick with lots of reverse thrust or they will run out of runway very fast!

The large area covered by Air Mike in Micronesia may be hard to understand. With a population of over 100,000 spread over 2,100 islands, the island hopper covers over 3 million square miles of ocean.

The most amazing thing about the Air Mike operation is that it still remains profitable. Continental do not have monopoly in the area it is just that all other newcomers have found it difficult to survive in this harsh region. The island hopper has also been utilized to extricate folk in times of hurricanes and typhoons.

You don’t need to take the island hopper to visit some great long haul destinations though, try www.flightsdirect.com for information on some great locations.

Times are looking good for the island hopper. Air Mike is still a completely separate company but it is still being marketed under the Continental brand.

1. The diversity in Wildlife parks

Intriguingly, no single park allows visitors the opportunity to view every large animal native to Kenya. Part of the joy is traveling from park to park and sampling the various wonders of this delightful country.

If time is a factor-and not every visitor can be expected to set aside weeks to travel around the country-then Maasai Mara National Reserve probably has the greatest variety and abundance of game.

2. Air safaris in Kenya safari vacation

Travel from Nairobi’s busy Wilson airport to the game reserves is simple and straight forward. Getting from park to park is easy, too, because they nearly all have their own landing strips and some of the bigger parks have more than one. Most well-heeled visitors will choose to fly-either from Nairobi or between parks. This saves time and is not especially expensive. It is certainly quicker and more comfortable than the safari bus alternative.

3. Road safaris in Kenya safari vacation

Other visitors prefer to pick up their safari bus at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and keep to the same vehicle throughout their stay in Kenya Vacation. The safari bus does at least give visitor an opportunity to see the real Kenya safari vacation beyond the confines of the game parks.

4. Accommodation in Wildlife park lodges and camps

Most is not all, of the larger parks and reserves have a lodge or two for overnight accommodation or longer stays. There is also a wide and expanding choice of tented camps. Considering their remote location, many lodges and camps are unexpectedly luxurious and serve exceptional food.

5. Kenya Wildlife Service commendable Job

The military style Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) does an excellent job of keeping the parks free from poachers. As a result, many previously endangered or threatened species have begun to thrive and become more numerous in recent years. Growing numbers of white and black rhino, plus healthier elephant and cheetah populations, are just some of the positive results achieved by KWS.

6. The Wonder that is the Maasai Mara

The Maasai Mara- in effect the northern part of the Serengeti Plains-contains a high concentration of Africa’s ‘big Five’ species (Buffalo, Elephant, Leopard, Rhino and Lion).

Its comparative closeness to Nairobi, together with its wide open expanses-so familiar from wildlife documentaries and Hollywood films-has made the Mara a top destination for most first time visitors.

Many come to view the great migration-one of the world’s most amazing natural spectacles-between July and September. In addition, however, the Mara offers something of interest all year round and contains some of the best park accommodation in Kenya Vacation.

But a Kenya safari vacation is more than just the Maasai Mara. There are bigger and less frequently visited reserves that offer an equally impressive window into Africa.

7. Largest Wildlife Parks in Kenya safari vacation

For example, some of the best places in Kenya safari vacation for viewing elephants are the Amboseli and the large Tsavo East and Tsavo West game reserves that straddle the Nairobi-Mombasa road. Amboseli, close to Mt. Kilimanjaro, has some of Africa’s highest concentrations of elephant. The park is well organised and unlike the “drive anywhere” Maasai Mara, viewing vehicles are restricted to the good graded road that winds its way through the park.

8. Great Rift Valley Lakes System: Nakuru Naivasha and Turkana

To the north of Nairobi, following the Nairobi-Kisumu road is a series of soda lakes that are either reserves or protected areas. Starting with the popular Lake Naivasha, Just an hour from the capital, the lakes stretch to the Ethiopian border and offer a great opportunity to view flamingos, pelicans and marabou storks as well as some game.

The 188sq km Lake Nakuru is the only KWS-administered reserve that is fully enclosed. Once just a bird sanctuary, Lake Nakuru is now the best place in Kenya to see the highly protected black and white rhino.

For the more adventurous, and lying some way off the beaten track, is Lake Turkana National ark, covering 7,500 sq km, the largest and most northerly of the Great Rift Valley Lake. In the west and around Lake Victoria (second largest fresh water lake in the world after Lake Superior in the US) can be found the remote Mount Elgon National Park together with a number of small parks close to the lake itself. Not all these parks are for viewing animals. Some are bird sanctuaries, while others are mostly wilderness.

9. Nature safaris in Mountain Parks

High altitude National parks such as Aberdares and Mt. Kenya, the location of Africa’s second highest mountain, are entirely different. Both contain some game, but the main attractions are their natural beauty and the opportunities they present for climbing and hill walking.

10. More Wildlife in the drier North of Kenya safari vacation

Of the drier, lower lying northern parks, the most impressive is the 239sq km Samburu National Reserve. The similarly sized Shaba National Park is less known than its near neighbour, but certainly worth a visit, as is Meru to the South.

Chartering a bus can be a very difficult task especially if the organized event falls on a peak season. Buses have different sizes and types. - Does the bus operator have a cell phone and the company, a 24 hour phone line in case of a breakdown?
- Who pays for the driver’s hotel room?

2. Safety

Buses are used more in terms of traveling because of their safety. The Bureau of Transportation Statistics, Center for Transportation Analysis proved that buses are twice as safe as flying and 46 times safer than driving an automobile. Furthermore, they reach more destinations and take you right at the doorstep of your destination than when you go flying and riding the train where it just drop you off at the nearest stop. More benefits of using charter buses includes: mobility, fuel efficiency, better for the environment and inexpensive.

3. Bus Types

- Charter Bus / Deluxe Motor Coach

- Minibus
- School Bus
- Entertainer Coach / Sleeper / Tour Bus
- Executive Coach / Day Coach
- Limo Bus
- Trolley
- Double Decker

Italys largest lake is Lake Garda and the most beautiful lake in all Europe. It stretches between the Alps and the Dolomites. The climate is warm in which lemon orchards and olive groves flourish.

It was formed more than 10000 years ago. The lake lies between olive groves vineyards and high mountains. There are five islands on the lake Isola del Garda, Osola dei Conigli, Isola di Sogno, Isola di Trimelone and Isola dellOlivo.

Lake Garda is easily reached whether you travel by train, plane or car. To travel around the lake the public bus covers the whole region. The motorway of northern Italy runs parallel to Lake Garda.

Gardaland is the biggest theme park, in Veneto Italy. The park opened in 1975 and is built on the eastern shore of Lake Garda at Castlenuovo del Garda.
The Vittoriale Museum in the town of Maderno on the Gardone Riviera on the southern coast of Lake Garda was built by Italian nationalist Gabriele Annunzio, who lived from 1863 until 1938. A poet, novelist and librettist. During the war he fought as an infantry soldier, sailor and pilot. His career, which did include his role in the Fascist movement in Italy, is chronicled at the museum.

The towns of Punta San Vigilio and Torri are tourist centres and are medieval towns and therefore have villas, monasteries and castles.

Punta San Vigilio is the jewel in the crown of lake Garda, and is known as one of the most romantic places in the world. In fact, many illustrious visitors have stayed here over the years such as: Maria Luisa Napoleon’s wife, the Tsar Alexander, the King of Naples, Luigi Einaudi, Winston Churchill, Lawrence Olivier, Kin Juan Carlos and the English Royal family.

Like most of the towns around the lake Torri has a castle. Formerly the seat of government for Benaco. It is also used for civil functions. There are two churches in Torri de Benaco, which one can visit or attend services. They often host exhibitions and concerts free of charge.

The town of Garda is very picturesque and is a old town situated on the lake. There is a local bus which is free of charge and goes around the town every 30 minutes. Lots of restaurants which all sell pasta and ice cream. Windsurfing is hugely popular on the Lake and cover the whole lake at the Riva del Garda end.
